KINGDOM Invitation // From Lip Service to Lordship: Making Christ Central

The sermon explored the dangerous reality of nominal Christianity, where many profess faith in Christ without truly surrendering to His lordship. Drawing from Matthew 7:15-23, we examined how Jesus warns us about false prophets who appear righteous outwardly but are spiritually empty within. Just like the Netflix show "Is It Cake?" where realistic-looking cakes fool judges, many today present a convincing Christian facade while lacking genuine transformation. The stakes are eternal—we cannot afford to fake our faith. Jesus calls us to test spiritual fruit, make Him Lord of every area of our lives, and ensure our profession of faith matches our possession of faith. In a world of progressive Christianity and twisted truth, we must be diligent disciples who can spot counterfeit faith and pursue authentic relationship with Christ.
