Prepare the Way [PALM SUNDAY]

The sermon explored the events of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, revealing a profound disconnect between the crowd's expectations and Christ's true mission. While the people praised Jesus as King, they wanted a political deliverer who would give them comfort and freedom from Rome. Jesus came as the Prince of Peace, riding humbly on a donkey, heading toward the cross to save His people from their sins. The tragedy of that day wasn't just that the crowd misunderstood—it's that we often do the same. We shape Jesus to fit our preferences rather than surrendering our lives to His lordship. As Jesus wept over Jerusalem, He grieved a city that missed God's visitation because they rejected the King they actually needed.
